THE GÎTE and its comforts

5 rooms, sleeps 12, perfect for holidays with family and friends...

In a peaceful location, surrounded by fields of vines, grass and sunflowers, the gîte is part of a farmhouse, restored with much care for esthetical and practical details.

The inside comfort...

The gîte measures over 150 m2 and caters for up to 12 persons. All the rooms are at the same level. They are airy and full of light, decorated with a personal touch with carefully selected wall colours, furniture and paintings.

A spacious room includes:
- The kitchen for those who love cooking. Fully equipped with oven, microwave, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine... pots, pans, a large quantity of cooking utensils... basic ingredients (oil, vinegar, spices, herbs...) and fruits and vegetables from the garden, when possible.
- The dining room... A large table and all the necessary props for lively conversations and merriment...
- The living room with sofa, armchairs, satellite TV (English channels), DVD, hi-fi, books, games... and a piano.

The 5 bedrooms each have their own washbasin. 12 single beds according to the size of the bedrooms (1 large room with 4 beds, 1 large room with 3 beds, 2 rooms with 2 beds and 1 small room with 1 bed). Double beds replace singles for couples.

1 bathroom, 1 shower room and 2 separate toilets.

For babies, we have a bed with sheets, a high chair, a baby bath and all you can wish for. If needed, we can find more.

A pet is accepted only with prior agreement.

... and the outside amenities

The land around the house and the pool allows space for children to play safely (we are well away from any public road) and for adults to relax, chat, sunbathe or merely 'take in the warmth of the day'.

The kitchen leads onto a beautiful terrace with furniture and barbecue. This area is perfect for outdoor meals, with views of the fields and the village, in the shade of a parasol or... under the stars.

The terrace leads to a large private garden with swings and a sand pit for children. Under an open hangar, ping-pong, "petanque", darts... can be played in all weathers.

The swimming pool (5 x 10 m) is equipped with an alarm for the protection of children under 5. It is in a secluded location with sun loungers, a sheltered area with a superb view down the valley. The owners sometimes use the pool, but on the whole, the guests have it to themselves.

Notes on accommodation
- The rent "per week" includes all bedding (duvets and pillows with linen), drying-up and hand towels, central heating.
- The rent "per night" includes the drying-up and hand towels, central heating. Bedding is optional.
- The rent does not include personal bath and swimming towels.
- Single beds are 90 cm width and the double beds are 160 cm.
- Other facilities provided: iron and ironing board, electric fan, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner...
